Mimmi Sarmin
Since 2012, Mimmi Sarmin has established a successful home catering business giving over thousands of Bangladeshis all over the Greater Toronto Area a taste of back home. Growing up, our chef, Mimmi, always had a strong passion for cooking food. She grows her love and inspiration for food through her mother, the late Latifa Hossain. Mimmi had initially started the business for her mother, and later on, she grew her business throughout the last 10 years with her and her mother’s magic hand of cooking. Mimmi’s husband Arefin, has been a support since day one with the food business and handles the business with Mimmi.
With the support from her mother, husband, and many clients to help grow her business, Mimmi Sarmin launched Khazana Queen, located in the heart of Bangla Town in Danforth, Toronto. Our dedicated chefs at Khazana Queen are committed to preserving the authenticity of Bangladeshi cuisine while infusing their own creative touches. Every dish is prepared with the finest ingredients, locally sourced whenever possible, to ensure the highest quality and freshness. The result is a symphony of flavors that reflects the rich history and diverse cultural influences of Bangladesh.
Mimmi Sarmin is a joyful person that is always ready to entertain and make customers happy. She lives in Toronto, ON with her husband and two daughters. She has many passions and interests such as travelling, cooking, and music.
